The very first thing I would like to clear is that Wondershare DR fone is not an Android app. This is a PC software that is designed for Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and Windows 10 and you'll have to connect your Android phone and Tablet device to a PC running Microsoft Windows via mini USB cable.  In addition to Microsoft Windows, Wondershare Dr Fone For Android is also designed for Mac OS and Android operating systems.

Wondershare Dr Fone For Android Price And Trial

Wondershare Dr Fone For Android is a totally paid data recovery software. Though They offer a free trial. But Its free trial doesn't let you recover lost data after completing scan. It is available priced at ranging from $49 to $149.

The User Interface And Features Of Wondershare Dr Fone For Android

The user interface is very easy to use, There is nothing you need to explore.

At Very first page that you see after opening Wondershare Dr Fone, You find instructions to enable developer mode and USB debugging So It can connect your phone or Tablet device to PC for Android versions from 2 to 6. You must follow these given instructions, Otherwise you can't connect your phone to PC.

As you can see We have 3 recovery options in Wondershare Dr Fone.

Android data recovery option is given to recover data from phone memory as well as from the SD memory card.

If you can't or don't want to connect, Android SD card data recovery is a dedicated option for SD memory cards or card readers.

My favorite feature is Android data extraction. This feature helps you recover data If touch is not working or broken or phone screen went black but the phone is still on. As of now this option is only available for Samsung devices.

The last option is given for those Who forgot lock screen patterns. You can use the Android lock screen removal to remove it. Currently this feature supports only Samsung devices.

To enable developer mode, Go to settings

Tap about the phone.

Scroll down the page until you find build number.

If you want to recover a specific category, For an example, If You want to recover mere contacts. Deselect all other categories and tick mark contacts and click Next.

On the next, You are given a warning That Dr Fone will apply a root to connected Android device. It will go back to unrooted status once recovery is complete.

Click start If you are Okay with it. As far as my personal experience is concerned, there is no harm in it.

Click normal.

You now need to reboot your copy of Phoenix OS for the changes to take effect.

Boot Phoenix OS from boot menu.

Click start menu and open Play Store fixer.

Click start

Click grant

Select Google Play Store and click always.

If the screen goes blank, Click start menu and switch to Tablet mode.

Now click menu and open my apps and game.

Android x86 has always been difficult to install on a PC to play Android games and run Android apps. The same thing is with the Remix OS as It is based on Android x86. The installation process of Reminx OS is not an easy job both on hard drive and almost impossible on Virtualbox If you go through the conventional installation process. Mount the ISO and start installing Remix OS on Oracle VirtualBox. It does not work at all. But It does not mean that you cannot install Remix OS on Oracle Virtualbox. Remix OS can be installed on any virtualization software you want to use.

After some research, I've found two methods to install Remix OS on Oracle Virtualbox that work very well for the resident mode. Other things are same.

Before you start installing Windows, Go to settings.

General and then click on advanced.

Select bidirectional and click OK.

Remix OS is based on open source Android-x86, In simple words, Remix OS is a custom version of Google Android. But Remix OS itself is not an open source operating system. Its source model is closed source which means The source code is not shared with the public for anyone to look at or change.

Minimum Remix OS System Requirements

Before downloading and installing Remix OS, I was expecting that It will run on an old PC with 1 GB of RAM. I tried to install it on my old Dell computer with 1 GB of RAM, But It failed to boot. It remained stuck on the Remix OS logo for too long and I finally gave up installing it.

You will find no exceptional system requirements As far as other requirements are concerned. Other requirements are

At least 16 GB free hard drive space for installing Remix OS on the hard drive for both dual or single boot.

Make sure your computer or Laptop has USB 3.0 Slots. Otherwise, It will take  extremely long time to boot.

You must have a USB flash or memory card with a capacity of 8GB or higher. And do not forget to make sure that writing speed of the USB drive or Memory card is more 20 megabytes per second. Otherwise, It will take extremely long time to boot.

The most important thing you need to take into account. Make sure Legacy boot mode is turned on or supported by the bios. Though You can install Re mix OS, but You cannot dual boot between Windows, Mac, Linux and Remix OS, If legacy boot mode is turned off or not supported.
